The Goal

Fans all over are outraged and crushed over the news of Moonlight's cancellation. Now is the time for you to lend your aid... support the show you love, and in the process, we just might make a difference.

Fans on the IMDB board have come up with another idea: a mass mailing campaign to save the show! What does this mean?

It means we're not sending them plastic fangs, or vials of blood... but somewhere along those lines, there have been designs made up for postcards and business cards. They're made to be attention grabbing, while conveying our opinions. It's not about making sure we're noticed, it's about making sure they know why we're ready to fight!

Send these cards to CBS as an attempt to make them change their minds, or to other networks and let them know we really want those rumors to be true! USA, SciFi, the CW, it doesn't matter, send them anywhere and everywhere. Urge these networks to consider picking up the show, and a couple million viewers while they're at it!

And remember that whether or not a decision has been made, we can still plead our case, and they can still change their minds!

You can write your plea on the back, or leave it blank and let the message on the front speak for itself.

Anyone interested, please contact me, and I'll provide you with more information.

Please, pass this information on, the more people involved, the more likely we are to make an impact.

How It Works

For Postcards

  1. Pick one of the following designs:

Click to view the larger image, then right click to bring up the menu to save.

    Shutterbug's designs:
    CamoKitty's designs:
We can even send them to other networks, especially USA Network and the Sci-Fi Channel, to help show how many people love it, and encourage them to pick it up:
  2. Now you have a few options:

    1. At www.cardstore.com you can make a postcard and they will send it for you. They are $1.09 each for a 4 1/4 x 6 and $1.49 for a 5x7. (plus shipping) See their site for pricing on bulk orders.
    2. Head to an office supply store and pick up a pack of postcard paper, and print them out in your own home. Make sure you've got enough ink, and a quality printer!
    3. Visit your local printing press, hand them the image you've picked, and see what they would charge to print some up.
  3. Put your message on the back, or leave it blank, and let the cards speak for themselves! If writing a message, it's important to be polite and concise. Berating them for canceling, or threatening never to watch again will only hurt our cause. Explain why you want Moonlight to be renewed or picked up. Try to keep the focus on the show's strong points, and not how hot the actors are (even though we all know they are).
  4. Stamp it, stick it in the mailbox, and have your friends do the same! There's nothing that says we can't all print out 100 cards apiece and send them off!

For Business Cards

For business cards, please stick to the format given on this site. It might not be the best, but it's cheap, and it will look better if we all send in one uniform card.

  1. Follow this link: www.bizcard.com
  2. Pick the first card option. (First of three, the one with the blue logo.)
  3. Type in the following:
    Company Name
    Mick St John Investigations
    Name
    wants YOU
    Type
    to SAVE MOONLIGHT!
  4. Click next and follow the instructions. Do not add on anything else, or you'll be charged for it. Once you have finished you will be asked to sign up. Once you've done that you can order as many as you want! Just remember, you'll be charged for anything over 115, and you will have to pay shipping and handling for your free cards.
